UIDAI has a detailed strategy for making training available for all the interested stakeholders. To achieve efficient training, UIDAI has developed complete training content by CMC Ltd with the assistance of subject matter experts from the Technology Team, Project Management Unit (PMU) and other senior officials at UIDAI. To enable greater dissemination of training content, the training content has been made available in this website. The training content has been posted on this website for reference and guidance for training agencies, registrars, enroling agencies etc.

Empanelled Training Agencies
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has empanelled around 15 training agencies based on response of Expression of Interest (EoI) for Empanelment of training agencies on the basis of technical competency criteria set out in the EOI for providing training to various categories of personnel working for Enrolment Agencies. Enrolment Agencies will capture demographic and biometric information of residents and send it to UIDAI's central database to enrol residents for Aadhaar. Registrars as well as enroling agencies may contact these empanelled training agencies for their training needs and to develop the skills of their personnel. A series of Masters training programmes have been planned to provide the empanelled training agencies, the training content, techniques of training for the enrolment staff and technical inputs on software and biometrics hardware
Six Masters training courses have been conducted for master trainers from the empanelled training agency, registrar representative and EA representatives. The Master Training programs were conducted by CMC Ltd, the selected vendor for development of training content. The training sessions were monitored by the in-house experts.. The first masters training was conducted in Hyderabad in August 2010 and the second in Ranchi in the first week of September 2010. Third Masters Trainers programme was conducted in Chandigarh in 3rd week of September .Fourth Masters Training Programme was organized in Bangalore 11th to 16th October, 5th Masters Training Programme was conducted in Mumbai from 25th to 30th October 6th Masters Training programme was held in Guwahati 7th to 12th February. Apart from these sessions on enrolment errors for operator/supervisors & registrar sensitization workshops have been conducted. Training programs for PRI and District level officials are also developed and are being delivered as per the requirement.

UIDAI has appointed a testing and certification agency to conduct on-line testing to assess the individual's ability to carry out enrolments according to its prescribed standards. Although UIDAI has not mandated training, but has prescribed mandatory certification for enrolment personnel to ensure adherence to quality aspects. UIDAI has appointed Sify to conduct the test and certification process for the enrolment station operators and supervisors. The Aspirant will visit the UIDAI website to take up this test and certification. UIDAI website will showcase the Sify UIDAI project (Online registration & Test) application URL link, using which aspirant can visit the Sify's application. Candidate can also visit the Sify-UIDAI application home page by entering the same URL directly. The aspirant can register, pay the fee, select the level to take up the test and get the certificate from SIFY after successful completion of the test.
