My online address update request got rejected for invalid documents. What does this mean?

Aadhaar update requests to be supported by valid/proper documents. In case the a valid document in the name of the applicant is not submitted along with the request, the same shall be rejected. Ensure to follow the below, before you submit a new update request.

1. The document should be a Valid document, as per document list https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/26_JAN_2023_Aadhaar_List_of_documents_English.pdf
2. Document is in the name of the resident for whom update request is submitted.
3. Address details entered should match the address with the address mentioned in the document.
4. Image uploaded should be clear and colored scan of original document.
